Grameen Fabrics & Fashions Ltd. was incorporated as a wholly owned Export Oriented Knit Garment Company on 7th August 2008 at Grameen Industrial Park, Sarabo, Kashimpur, Gazipur, as per the Company Act 1994. The company is registered with Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC) No.C-72548 (590)/08. From 1st April 2012, the factory started its commercial operations.


At present, the authorized and paid-up capital of the company is Tk 100 crores. In this case, Grameen Telecom Trust has Tk 99.99 Crores and Grameen Telecom's ordinary shares of Tk 1.00 lakh (each share worth Tk 100/-) as equity investment. Besides, Grameen Telecom Trust has a total debt of Tk 11.06 crore including Tk 7.55 crore and Grameen Telecom Tk 3.51 crore. Last year (in 2023), Rs 75.00 lakhs was disbursed in proportion to equity investment and this trend is ongoing.
